~Thanksgiving!~

This is the second year we've hosted Thanksgiving at our house. Last year, was a special Thanksgiving.... I got my first of 3 positive pregnancy tests last year! This year steered clear of pregnancy announcements, however, we had a bustling home, with 4 children, three of which were under 4 months old! It was a great time, everybody seemed to really enjoy themselves, and we even got a visit from the Miskell family!

~Mikey Stroud's Dedication~

Our dear friend Ray had his 4 1/2 yr old son, Mikey, dedicated at Foursquare Church this November. We were all a bit nervous that Mikey wouldn't take well to being on stage, but he was a CHAMP! Even went as far as to give our Pastor a high five, and stand on his own. Sweet boy!

~Hodge Podge~

Sweet little, Mommy is having a blast with your leg warmers, and crazy bright colors! You may hate me one day, but for now, I'm having a blast!

~Baby Hog~

Gotta love Owen and his LOVE for babies!

~Eme & Ryken~

This picture cracks me up every time I see it. Before we tried to take the picture, Eme was happy and Ryken was asleep. And this is what we got...

~house stuff~

Being home has had its advantages... being with Emerson, not missing out on her by working, taking care of my home and my family, etc. But it also has a disadvantage... CRAFTS! I have made several tutus, and have painted the living room, dining room and both bathrooms. I made my own table runners, and christmas stockings. I've painted candlesticks, and made my own table settings for this Thanksgiving. I am really making up for lost time here! I've posted a few pictures of things I've been doing in the last few weeks!

I made 3 table runners, this one for the sofa table, which will be the "bar" on Thanksgiving, and 2 for the tables where we'll be eating!

I made these stockings! I haven't sewn since high school AND I made my own pattern!
And thanks to Pinterest, I will never have to buy another stocking holder again, i LOVE the way the curtain rod looks!

Spray painted this B red, and cut a hole in the bottom to make it a tree topper... $6 tree topper that I LIKE!

Small bathroom... Can't really change out the vanity, because we rent, and painting is one thing, but changing out cabinets is QUITE another, but this room is no longer peach with hideous wall paper

Big bathroom... I'm debating whether or not to paint the floors... I painted the walls, and drawers/cupboard doors, and ceiling. Looks WAY better than it did!

~Ryken Spencer Patsey~

He's here! Ryken Spencer Patsey entered the world on Friday, 11-11-11, at 11:11am! He weighed 9lb 3oz and was a whopping 22 inches long! He is too precious, and we are all in love with him! Owen is so excited to FINALLY have his baby brother!

Grammy in heaven with the babies!

Gotta love having arms loaded up with babies!

~3 Months~

We officially have a three month old! Eme is growing and changing so much, and is an incredible light to our lives!

~More Pinterest~

This pinterest addiction is starting to pay off! I've started several projects, and here are a few finished ones...

The thermostat always looks so out of place... so using 3M velcro wall hangers, I attached a 4x6 frame around it. Cute, I think!

Here I got a couple pallets from my mom's work, and hung this one on our family room wall. Thought it was a fun, rustic way to show off photos!
And my favorite project thus far. Village store front signs for the hallway. I took round pieces of wood from Joann's, spray painted them an almond color and distressed them with an espresso colored spray paint, and attached a hook and the decal. I then attached a hanging plant bracket above the doors, and hung my signs! Simple, and adorable!

I have about 1,000 more ideas to do, but I've got tutus to make and boots to crochet for Emerson, Stevie & Kennedy's thanksgiving outfits, and also a tutu and headband for Eme's 3 month pictures. I'm loving this "crafty SAHM thing" I have going on! Before you know it I'll be blogging about making our own laundry detergent!

~Happy Halloween~

We had a great 1st Family Halloween! We celebrated with friends at the Miskell Halloween Party on Saturday the 29th, and Monday the 31st, met Josh's family for dinner at the Ram, and then headed down to Orting to go trick or treating with Michelle and Owen, and of course visit with Grammy. We've decided that Halloween each year will be a family theme, and this year to commemorate was Popeye! Eme made a PRECIOUS swee pea!

~Halloween Jammies~

I was so excited about these cute jammies, they were $5, and they glow in the dark! As you can tell, Eme wasn't AS excited as I was! Haha! She had been throwing a bit of a fit so I figured "you're already mad, I may as well play a bit of dress up with you!"
